Clinique do a very good foundation indeed, called Continuous Coverage. It comes in a tube and I mix it half and half with foundation when I apply it. It covers broken veins, scars, birth marks etc, whilst giving a really nice dewy finish, not masky. It is expensive but it lasts a long time. Clinique counter staff are usually really nice and helpful (unlike some at other make-up counters) and they will show your daughter how the foundation looks on her, and see if it suits her.
You don't say how long your daughter has had acne and how bad. My 16 yr old son has acne and is on the waiting list to be seen for Roaccutane acne treatment at the local hospital. This is a three to four month course of tablets which have amazing results. Hi father had acne for ten years, tried everything and Roaccutane cured it in three months - he never had a spot again. If your daughter does have some acne scarring, her GP should be willing to refer her for this treatment. The treatment CAN have side-effects though, as can many treatments, if you google it, you can see for yourself.
Good luck :-)

I absolutely love BareMinerals, it is made by a company called BareEscentuals. It is a powder foundation & I never thought a powder would work, but it does. I have a redness to my skin & it covers it wonderfully. My friend has acne & acne scars & it covers hers great too! And it's all natural, good for your skin. They sell it at their own stores & at Sephora. I would recommend getting the starter kit because you get the right brushes you need to apply it & if you buy the brushes individually it is much more expensive. The starter kit is $60 & comes with 3 brushes & 4 compacts of make-up & a dvd that shows you how to easily apply the make up. I highly recommend this product.

ProActive now has make-up that doesn't aggrevate acne and covers it up. My 16 year old daughter uses the ProActive line of products and it really helps her. You don't get instant results (like they say on TV) , but within 2 weeks we sure saw the difference. Also, she went away in the summer without it for a week and it was evident how much it had been working, when she broke out withing a few days.

I'm 32 and still breaking out and I have scarring as well. The worst make up for my skin is liquid. The best I have tried is Pur Minerals 4 in 1 foundation. It is a mineral powder that evens out my skin tone, and it doesn't cause break outs. It is a little expensive, but I think it's worth it.

Camouflage sticks...... I used them when I was younger to hide my blackened eyes after my ex would have beaten me up.... Long time ago that.... Be careful though, use a good skin cleaner. I have a stick by Maybeline... A good maquillage by Revlon perhaps (foundation is also day cream), will cover it and still be good to the skin.. I was lucky enough to grow up without acne, but I know what pimples look like

clinique. i love this product because its super soft on sensitive skin. take her there and try their new foundation...i forget the name but its only 19.50. i never wear foundation and wanted to try so i recently bought it. wouldnt you know, it applies so naturally and would do a really nice, clean job covering up any blemishes, redness, etc. i have used clinique for about 8 years now!!! hopefully she will like it as much as i do! best of luck.
