I (already) have a ticket UK to Iceland. I want to go back to the UK via Oslo, but the cheapest way I can find is to go back to UK then get flights UK to Oslo return. Can anyone suggest a better option that will be cheaper?

Icelandair sometimes has deals; check both 1-ways and round trips.
you could also take the ferry from Seydisfjordir ot the Faroes, and then another to Bergen. The Bergen-Oslo train route is supposed to be magnificent.
