Matured rump steak served with macaroni cheese and raw onion.
The steaks aren't that thick so will only take about two to three minutes each side. I have already sliced the onion - we need to eat lots of raw onion as it is a blood cleanser and helps to get rid of the cholesterol. It also is a valuable source of Vitamin C, which we will all be down on at this time of year. The macaroni cheese is ready made and just waiting to be baked in the oven for a nice cheesy topping! Not much in the way of veg and fruit for our 'five a day' I know - but we had most of that with our lunch - and hell, it will be so quick to prepare when we get home from the pub!
I have found that doing meals like this for a Friday evening are better and quicker than going out for a meal.

Beef stew and suet dumplings. I've got some lovely matured beef, and some nice red wine for the gravy, and I'm going to make this classic dish for my partner and I. It's the perfect dish in miserable wet & windy weather like this!

I don't cook dinner on Fridays. We usually have chinese food or something that somebody else cooks and cleans up after.

I'm making hot and sour soup with tofu, and I picked up a baguette at the store this morning. I have no idea what I'm going to do with it yet. And my husband won't eat tofu, so I don't know what he's going to eat...hee. But I've had such a craving for this soup lately that I HAVE to make it.

I prefer both fruits and fresh vegetables better, however they look and taste. You desire a little of both.

In the event it's a fruit it includes seeds, otherwise it's a vegetable. And vegetables are usually grown in the ground while fruits are grown in trees.
