I know it appeared in a Buffy episode and apparently means 'Enter ye who seek knowledge' in Latin but it looks like no Latin I've ever seen. Although I'm no Latinist, I have my suspicions that it's gibberish.

This looks a lot like something that an internet translator would have given back as Latin. I don't know if you copied the words from memory or from the captions for the hearing impaired (which are done by people who don't know how to spell Latin), but the second word looks like it is from a form of the verb transicio, meaning to pass through/enter. Edicatorum looks like it is supposed to be a form of the word educatio or educatus, education. Looks like they were to cheap to hire a translator, figuring no one would know the difference.

Yeah it definitely does not mean what the Buffy episode said. But you're right...the Latin looks really off. I've never seen those words before, but the only think I can tell is that "edicatorum" means "of *enter def. of edicatus*"

It doesn't actually mean anything - but it would look and sound like Latin to someone who hasn't studied it. Creative licence!
