thats a hard question martin oneil was brill brought lots of succes to celtic and turned us back to a great side and then the european teams started to fear celtic once again we played some great football under oneil and he made great signings for celtic the years he had with celtic and succes he had were brill the wee man gordon he has won us the league and the league cup in the first year nearly last 16 cl but i think that strachans tatics are wrong sometimes never willing to attack like oniell when we are winning 1-0 with gord we sit back when we were winning 1-0 with martin we attacked but they are both celts at hart and they are doing the club great so as long as gord does the same as martin then they he will be remembered as a great manager like mart, stein and the other greats but hail hail to all tims champs by xmas

I am the same as you didnae want O'Neil to go either but we have to give wee Gordon a chance we could be in the last 16 of the champions league so we will have to wait and see if Celtic play as good next week the way they played last week then it is possible we will go into the last 16 and every Celtic Fan will be praising him to the high heavens. I know Martin got us to the Final of the UEFA but the last 16 of the Champions league you cant get better than that not been there in a long time.

O'neil did well when he was there but what legacy did he leave? NONE! Strachan has a lot to prove and needs time to see whether he can cut it. Def doin better than Le Guen but thats not difficult!

If we get points against benfica (especially a win) there's only one Gordon Starchan, oh yes there's only one Gordon Strachan, etc. Martin O'Neill will always be a God though, but we move on.

Celtic are mince. I support the teddy bears and we have not challenged, that's it. Simple, Celtic could have any of you Muppet's in charge and they would still do fine.
It is just a trend like the rest of history, everybody gets their turn at winning.
Rangers will get another turn then it will be Celtic then Rangers etc etc blah blah blah.

As a Southampton supporter, I have to go with Gordon. He was class, he has a good work ethic and put that into practice with his players. How Gordon coped with Rupert Lowe was a mystery, and it was sad for him to leave, we have not played as good since he left us. Your a lucky club to have him.
