I think that Revelations happens over and over again constantly. It has happened , does happen, and will happen.

The words that are in Revelations, I believe, are the philosphy of the battles that happen within each and every one of us , as we face the negatives and positives of this life.

For example:

A mother and a small child , are sitting in there yard. The mother sees her child playing dangerously near a busy road.
She calls out to the child, and the child comes to her.
And , as she has so many times, explains that the child can get hurt playing near the road. The child says it understands, and returns to play. The mother begins reading a book.
The child plays close to the road again. And a car , driven by a drunk man, runs over the childs leg. The child is rushed to Hospital. And looks up at the mother with tears, and says " i 'm sorry , I will Never play near the road again. I Promise."

This child had to be in the experience of danger, in order to understand and to spread the word to their friends at school. Saving those whom would listen.

So too is like the story of Revelations. The writer was brought into a scene of experience, in order to be explained the dangers of mankind playing too close to the danger zones of life.

Some of the things in the book of Revelation have already happened, but not all.

Those that erroneously think that Revelation (singular BTW) has already happened ignore the prophecy that all life in the ocean dies, the waters are all turned to blood and 1/3 of the planet's life is killed. Those are things that have not yet happened.

Jesus loves you.

Every time you attend The Holy Mass a good portion of the Book of Revelation occurs

Indeed it has. Revelation is not a far flung prophecy for a time period thousands of years in the future. It was a symbolic story of events happening in the 1st century centered around the destruction of the Jewish temple.

The cartoonish end-times fantasy invented by people like Tim LeHaye is so absurd, it's just amazing people take it seriously.

I believe that some of the things have happened, but to the people who are so anti-religious prophecies, you guys have to admit that SOMETHING is happening, that the world IS changing and things are getting worse than they were myseteriously similiar to the way the Bible says they would... so that's all I have to say about that. So the way I feel is, you either die believing in Jesus Christ or you don't...but the outcome is you're still going to die. Possibly in some large disaster.

I firmly believe we are near the end of Chapter 3. Once the Church Age has ended, the Rapture will take place, as given at the beginning of Chapter 4.

Considering the number of propaganda texts that are included in the Bible concealed as 'prophecy', such as Daniel, I'd say that John of Patmos was following in a long line of political activists who couched the real meaning of their writing in prophecy to avoid directly torquing off the kings they were protesting and satirizing. Every symbol in revelations can be directly translated into events that happened during Emperor Nero's reign.

In short, I view it as having been finished before John of Patmos even died.
