Mother teresa had gone to Rome and Vatican several times to meet the pope John Paul II. But I am unable to provide with the years of her visit as I am not easily getting anything from the web.

Exerpts from web link -http://www.rediff.com/news/1998/sep/07moth1.htm
reads "Mother Teresa used to meet the Pope often, do you have a trip or meeting scheduled with him? No, not now. Whenever I go to Rome I always meet with Father."

Personally, I love Mother Theresa. Had she been made a saint when I was Confirmed, I would have picked her as my name saint. She is my idol, the kind of person I want to be like. She is, in my eyes, one closest to Jesus and one of the two people in my lifetime who I feel had a straight ticket to heaven. I am positive she traveled to Rome at least once in her lifetime. I know she came to America a few times.
