In your inner ear you have a fluid that balances your equilibrium. When you spin around the gravity of this fluid is forced off balance, therefore you will fell dizzy until it settles back down.

There is a part inside your ear called the "semi-circular canal" that has these little sensitive hairs and some type of fluid. When you spin around, the fluid (for lack of a better term...) sloshes around inside. Even after you stop spinning around, the fluid inside is still sloshin' around. That's what makes you feel dizzy.

When you spin a bowel containing water, the water keeps on spining even after the bowel is kept still.

Likewise the cerebral fluid in your head doesnt stop even after you stand still after spinning around, causing dizziness.

Because our brain is like giant piles of paper (like on your desk at work). If you spin, it becomes all haphazard and messed up. It takes time to reorganize the papers.
