You could get a bootdisk/rootdisk kit from slackware but it will take 2-4 disks.

Just take a look at: http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/slackware/slackware-current/

You may also be interested in Cygwin ( http://cygwin.com/ ) which is a Linux emulator for Windows which works great but requires almost 1GB of space on your HD.

Why do you want Linux to run in Windows? That's a bit counter-productive eh?

There are several small versions of linux out there...not sure they'll fit a floppy though.

Use to, the Linux book came with a cd, with all of Linux on it, just load your modules as you need them.
