Most definitely. My friend at work has a mother with alzheimers and the doctors told my friend she needs to help keep her mothers mind sharp by playing dominos and card games and get her out of the house.

Well, if you are indeed a 38 year old male, is this question about you? You asking this question at 38 is not nearly the same as someone 88 asking it...just know this: alzheimers is NOT forgetting your keys...it IS forgetting what keys are for...

If you are under 40 and experiencing memory loss( I do not mean where the car is in the lot at the mall or why the remote is in the freezer)you need to talk to someone...it could be anything from depression to too much daily stress to???

Alzheimer's is inherited. Alot of studies are being done on this. Scientifically it's been proven. Alzheimer's is a disease that affect folks 65+ .

The answer to your question is "no" . The brain begins to die when deprived of ALL stimuli for a very long period of time....... Look at the studies of people who were held in captivity for a long long time. They were close to mental retardation or other....... You cannnot aquire Alzheimers by not feeding your brain.

Can't aquire any type of brain damage by sitting around idle.
