My boyfriend is adorable, he's got a perfect body, he's got great facial features, and he's a wonderful guy. I just constantly ask myself why he's dating me. I'm not ugly, I'm actually quite pretty, it's just that I'm short, only 5'1", and I'm kinda heavy, or at least I think I am, I'm 140 lbs, which is pretty heavy for my height.
I just always wonder why such an awesome guy like him would want to be with me, and he's the one who asked me out, it's not like I was pressuring him to date me or anything. What do guys see in women if it's not just the physical?

It's not that I'm fat, I'm proportioned fine. I've got a very athletic body type. I play soccer, and I do swimming and gymnastics, so I'm physicall fit, and most of my weight is in muscle.
However, all my boyfriends previous girlfriends were skinny and petite, and I just don't fit that.

I would take it as a personal favor if you would simply give up your feelings of inadequacey and enjoy him and your relationship. My gf asked me why I would even date her once (after a few drinks, funny how things come out then, huh?) and now I can't get over this thought that she holds back sometimes b/c she thinks SHE"S not good enough for me. It is the most flattering and annoying thing I have ever encountered in a relationship. Men really aer capable of seeing inner beauty, too, but I am sure he's attracted to you or he wouldn't be with you. Be flattered that such a great guy finds you so wonderful, too, ok?

not all guys would just like the physical thing. if a person can see beyond physical, that will be wise, that's great. love is blind, i'm sure you heard of that. there are other reason that can make people crazy about each other beside physical appearance. things like 'beauty and the beast' happen in real world. i'm not saying that your relationship is same like 'beauty and the beast', that's just an extreme example. i'm sure you are a great looking girl with an excellent attitude.

Some guys look at the inner beauty. If that's you, then you are fulfilling his dreams, and yours. Relax. If you trust his sincerity, then tell him how happy you are that you are together. As far as being heavy, some guys actually prefer heavy women. So you have won on two fronts.

Just because YOU don't think you're beautiful doesn't mean he doesn't. When you fall in love with someones personality, they appear beautiful in all ways, including physically. Also, some guys like a little padding on a girl.

your looks are just the first thing a guy is attracted to// looks at. its your personality that keeps him there, you cant base a relationship on looks its all about personality. just be yourself

You're 5'1 and 140lbs... Yikes.. Go on a diet and exercise. You should be no more then 110lbs.
