A friend went in for blood in her urine. No pain anywhere. Has had blood for a few months. Had an ultrasound done yesterday. She saw that on & around the right kidney, there is about 5 or so grouped large white markings. If you combined all the markings, they would be equal to half the kidney. They are kind of large. The lab tech saw, then came in & took more pictures on the right side.

She has no pain. I am afraid to say that is not a good sign. If she did have pain, that would suggest an infection or stones. I sure hope that your friend will be alright. It is very considerate of you to investigate the subject on her behalf. Be there for her, you sound like a great friend!
