I absolutely would tell them right now. If they find out some other way they would be very upset. As far as your best friend goes maybe she just needs some time to adjust to the fact that you like her brother. I dated my best friend's brother in high school and she didn't have a problem with it. If you're officially a couple now the truth will come out. Don't you think it would be better if she heard if from you instead of "accidentally" finding out or hearing it from someone else?
It's not nice being caught by surprise - that more than anything could ruin your friendship.
Sit her down and let her know how you feel. Be honest. It may be weird for all of you for a while, but eventually the awkwardness will pass.

you should have told her when you and her brother decided to be couples. But anyway, its up to you two to whether to tell her or not. Ask yourself whether its worth it to hide it from everyone else. Will it hurt your friendship with your bff? Are you willing to sacrifice the friendship if she decides to break it off when you tell her? What if she ask you to choose between her and her bro, will you be able to choose which one? Hope this questions will help you out in determining whether to tell her or not

is this relationship worth losing your best friend over.....because that will be a possibility.....how long have you and him been together....maybe you should get to know where the relationship is going before you start announcing it to everybody.....because you guys will need a real SOLID relationship to handle all the disapproval. It will put a strain on the relationship so make sure you are sure about this.

Honey don't ever get into a family who do not like you. Yes the guy might love you but you are not marrying him alone you marrying the family. When you get in problems in feature incase your boy friend dies it will not be easy.

I would tell her, and your family. You can't keep it from them forever. They will find out one way or another. So if they do and they find you were hiding it from them, you could be in trouble, when you could have avoided it in the first place by telling everyone.

give it a bit of time. when you two are sure you want to be together for the long term, then you have to tell them. but if its just hook up, then no point risking the friendship.
