I plan to work in the GYM for a toned body. I realise that i would be lifting weights but i dont want to beef up (Arnold.......) . So i guess i'll be stuck with doing low weights more reps . My question is how many reps??
4 sets of 25 or 6 sets of 25 ?
i would be grateful if you could give me an idea.(No websites please)

Also, do cardio too along with the small weight more reps method.

25 reps is too much. That's not going to provide enough intensity. 8-12 reps would be better. If you do full body workouts then you'll only need one set. 3 sets of 8-12 reps if your doing split routines and working different parts on different days.

You will not look like Arnold, that takes some serious effort.

ask a trainer at the gym, or just try it out and see what you think. Whether using heavy weights or light weights, you want to work towards burnout on your last set. I would suggest 3 or 4 sets of 15. if you can do that easily, then work up to more weight. It just all depends on what is heavy or light for you. I would just suggest talking to a trainer at the gym because they can help you with a more personalized answer.

Get a set of small weights that weigh about 20 lbs.
And lift weights at home every other day on arms and ankles.
U will get toned quick without money blowed at a gym.

You are not going to "beef up" unless you do some seriously heavy lifting and intentionally try to "beef up". You should just start out slow and see what you are capable of and what you are comfortable with. You will learn what works for you over time. You are in no danger of beefing up unless you start pushing the limits and lifting incredible amounts of weight.

Sounds like my horse Hunny. He actually took down fences to get out of doing it. But don't worry here are some helpful tips. First, don't give them any treats unless they do what you ask them to do. What that is saying to them is that they are being praised for their good manners. They previous owners are at fault for their bad manners. Make sure they're feet are squared away. Basically what this means is make sure they are positioned in a rectangle, that way they are able to balance better. Then try pinching their feathers. The part above the hoof. Always have your hoof pick handy. Hope this helps.

I usually do 50
40
30
20
10

mostly I do push up and set-ups, quick running, pull-ups. Big muscles slow you down.

I would do 200 set-ups. Stop
100 jumping jacks- stop
150 push up--stop
150 set-ups. stop
50 jumping jacks- stop
100 push up- stop
quick run around the block!
200 punch at the punching bag-stop
100 kicks at the punching bag-stop

Do forms=karate for 10 min
run around the block again.

Now, I sit and watch world News for a good Bush laugh at 200 lb
My work-out = play fight with my 5 year old
