I'm after some and neither of the major supermarkets have the larger size bottle only the smaller one which is far less economical to buy. How come the shelves where the larger bottles live is very frequently empty? It can't be that popular surely????

Not meaning to rag on you, but where do YOU live? Not only does our supermarket carry the larger size bottles of JD, but our chain drugstores do too. Maybe the local merchants around you are trying to curb the drinking of alcoholic beverages. I can't believe that in todays day and age some store owner would not sell a product that is popular. It's just unAmerican!!

I agree with previous posters, bourbon is better. Although I prefer Makers Mark over Jim Beam.

In my local tescos it doesn't display Jac Daniels for (and i quote) "security reasons". I have no idea why thats just what they say. They will give you a big bottle if you ask at customer services.

Drinking Jack went out when Guns 'n Roses split!

Develop your taste, get a little sophisticated and sample a nice Scotch single malt.

If you insist on Bourbon, Jim Beam has always been superior.
