Perfectly normal. Only problem with low BP is that on getting up suddenly you may feel giddy for a second.

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

Does it always be this low? It could be where you are supposed to be. Are you a healthy, physically fit and active person? If so, then the pressure's probably correct for you when you are at rest. Your heart doesn't have to exert as much pressure to pump blood to the various regions of your body. Nowadays, normal bp is around 115/70, so I wouldn't think yours is bad. Double check with your doc just to be sure, though.

Its considered "prehypertension" Below 120/80 is normal. Between 120/80-140/90 is prehypertension, above 140/90-159/99 is Stage I hypertension and over 160/100 is Stage 2 hypertension. "Hypertension" is just the medical term for high blood pressure. If you are diabetic, you will ALWAYS want it below 130/80. For you, a doctor would not likely medicate you. Ideally you want to be below 120/80. Try cutting back on your sodium intake and make sure you are getting 30 mins of exercise most days of the week, if you are healthy enough for exercise. At that pressure, you may be at risk of developing hypertension in the future. Keep a close eye on it.

120/80 is usually the norm! If your doctor did this test and showed no concern then you should not worry. This seems abit on the low side to em so if you did a home test i would see the doctor.

it is low but if you are concerned, you should speak with your doctor to find out why and if there are risks associated with low BP.
