out of respect to Muslims but to air shows like Madonna's of a mock crucifixion even though Christians would be offended?
I heard someone say that Madonna is brave and artisically challenging her right to free expression? Does anyone think the real show of her bravery and right to expression would have been if she had depicted Mohammad on stage? Wouldn't that be a better , more significant message for artists?

I agree. I don't think the Muslims cartoon's should be shown if they are offensive to Muslims, and NBC should not show the offensive things that Madonna is doing. But the media like NBC and the rest, will do anything they can to make this country look bad. I believe that the war in Iraq could be going a lot better if the media would play a part on the US side. Wasn't it Stalin or some Russian leader, or Hitler, that said to win a war one thing to do is take over the Media?

I'm not endorsing the former leader by no means, just this one tactic.

I think a LOT of what NBC does is mocking of Christianity.

Since about 80% of Americans claim to be Christians, that doesn't seem very smart to me.

I watch very little NBC these days because of that.

They are probably more scared of radical Muslims (who I know do not represent the majority) protesting and bombing the building then radical Christians. Besides, it's chic to mock christianity. It's starting to become chic to mock Muslims. I feel that it is wrong to mock any religion.

Simple practicality. People would have been killed over the silly cartoons, but Christians are secure enoguh that they don't overreact that way to idiotic programs.

Displaying something that shows a controversial version of a religion is one thing but it's something else to show one religion mocking another.

Not only is it bad taste, it's also unconstitutional.
