Yes my dear Jessica they are infact, disgusting. It is sick how hypocritical the "christians" can be. They say that the only true judge is god, but look what they do. They make the room for the homosexual "sinners"..thats sick I'm all about the love man if you love someone I think thats all "god" really cares about..I think the true sinners here are those damned christian freaks!!! moooHAhaha

It's one of the sickest ideas Christianity ever had. It's very sad that Christians think their Jesus Christ alone isn't incentive enough to attract followers. Unlike Jews who believe God fulfills every spiritual need, Christians create the idea of eternal hellfire and damnation to try to literally *terrorize* children and the weak-willed to follow their religion. It's sick and sad.

P.S. I *love* this quote from the website http://www.talk2action.org/story/2006/10/10/15640/438
"It's a chilling journey into the reptilian hindbrain of American religion."

I went to one last year just to see what it was about. It was one on the most pathatic things I have ever seen. A bunch of lunatics using scare tactics to lure "un-believers". If there is a god, he is probaly laughing at these assclowns.

My Ex-Boy and I went to one in Apopka (a suburb of Orlando) a few years ago, and they had a mock abortion, a mock rape (and the girl committed suicide, and they showed *her*, not the boy, going to hell!), a funeral for a gay person who was "deceived" and died of AIDS, and a school shooting by a kid who listened to Marilyn Manson. What was funny was, the "good Christian kids" could sing along to Marilyn Manson! That was about the only funny part. It was almost all teenagers; we felt so horrible for them.

I'm actually trying to find one to check out. I'm a very liberal, gay Buddhist, so obviously one of the "godless sinners" the Christian fundies are targeting with their hateful tactics. But I'm also fascinated by evangelicals and their beliefs, especially now that they have so much political power. "Know thy enemy," as they say.

Churches and Christian hell houses do the same thing: they scare people, subvet them, and prove that Christians and their theology is irrational. They pretty much ARE the same thing....

Thanks to the person who posted the link.

This makes me think two things. First, I've simply GOT to start watching the news and paying attention to what's going on in the world. Time to pull my head out of the sand! You can't fight what you don't know is happening.

The second is unprintable.

It has to be the same type of churches that preach nothing but fire and brimstone.

How can any child appreciate God’s love if they’re taught to be scared to death of Him?

It is sick. Perverted.

I have to wonder why any all-powerful god would want followers who were tricked or scared into believing in them by ruses such as those. Saying God would want this really seems to be speaking poorly of him.
