My motto.....
Live in such a way that those who know you but don't know God, will come to know God because they know you.
If you live a Christian life, you won't have to go preaching to everyone because they will come to you and ask you what is different about you, then you can tell them.

I believe I live an authentic life, but being a perfect Christian and always loving God and always loving my neighbor isn't easy, and not something I *always* achieve. I try, but I fail. So I admit I'm not perfect. Too bad there *are* so many hypocritical "Christians" running around out there using the Bible as a club over people's heads without looking themselves in the mirror and acknowledging that by judging others they are casting the first stone!

I just try to be the best person I know how to be, and try to apply the good things to my life. Everyone has sinned and fallen short of the glory, but when I see my errors I try quickly to change, however in the mist of my errors and short comings the people around me may think I am hypocritical. They call Jesus a devil, drunk, sinner, and a gluten because He was not like they wanted Him to be, and He was perfect. To sum it up people are going to talk,a lot of people that say they are Christians are going to act a fool, a lot of Christians do live right, some Christians have compassion, and some Christians judge others. The important thing is how will you be. Wise you the best. "The Motivator"

I pray to my God honestly from my heart. I also try to be honest about everything. But, sometimes I make and honest mistake. Where when it is found out, I give to God, and ask what I should do about the mistake.
Christians can judge critically. Some can have have unforgiveness and a bitter heart. That may be because they are carnal Christians. Or they think they need to make themselves righteous and think others must be like them and criticize others based on self righteousness. This is self righteousness.
When Christians realize that at the moment they were born of God and put on Christ Righteousness, they are the righteousness of Christ, then they do things because they are the righteousness of Christ, not to become righteousness. The new born Christian is just as righteous as the 30 yr old Christian.
I go to church because I am righteous in Christ. I don't go to church to be more righteous. I don't judge others, except to discern if they are born of God or are sinners needing a Savior. That can direct how I pray for others.

I do sometimes feel that I am being fake as I am paid to put on a smile and say "good morning" to everyone that enters the doors that I hold open at the building that I work at, and each one asks me - "hi, how are you?" and I have basically been told that I need to smile and say that I'm doing well, even IF I'm not feeling well, or if I'm tired or if I'm sad etc...I wish that someone had the time to hear the real raw emotions that I have. (most do not care or have the time) I do see these traits in many people, sadly including some other Christians that are too busy - being busy to really want a real true genuine answer of the simple question "how are you?" Often I'll answer it when asked, "perservering" because I do acknowledge that while things are difficult (without being too specific) I'm continuing on. I don't feel that it is fair to overload someone else that is already stressed and busy with all the "junk" that I could emotionally unload on to them. I do care about how each person that I see is doing, and I do genuinely hope that they have a better day, even if it's from seeing me smile or opening the door for them. I do pray that I can be used to show God's love to everyone I see, yet the thing that concerns me most is that sometimes it's hardest when that unconditional love is figuratively knocked down, kicked and spit on - especially as it so often does in an open forum like this. I do not judge aetheists or muslims or mormons for their differing beliefs than that of my own, for I know that it's God's "job" to judge each one in our own time on our Judgement Day. I have experienced God's unconditional love, and sharing it as best that I can is living an authentic life. Some people (even including ones I know personally) have believed lies that they are ugly, stupid, and unlovable. - so when my love for them is "knocked down" it tells me that they really need it even more...and that I shouldn't take their "hatred" that they reply with for themselves or me as a personal rejection of me or my love. While it can be very discouraging at times, Jesus did go through much more rejection because He loved each one of us soooo much that he GAVE Himself as a sacrife. I believe that we are most like God when we give to others. We as Christians have been shown mercy and forgiveness that we did not deserve in the first place. I do not want to put a "mask" on (being hypocritical) that shows a smile when really I feel hurt and sad. Yet I truly can smile even in difficult times to see someone, and know that God has a plan to get me through these difficult times and that I am to count it all joy when I face trials of many kinds because I know that the testing of my faith overtime teaches me to be mature and complete

God gave every one free will. So to hold a christian at a higher standard isnt always fair. Yes we are supposed to be trying to act christlike but because we are human we make mistakes too. Sometimes you feel fake cuz your human nature pull syou one way but your strive to follw God pulls you another. Absolutly you see other people makeing mistakes but i think its more a personal attitude and where your heart is rather than how perfect you do. I think that people definitly try but its not easy in a sinners world. I think we just need to strive for Gods will and live the best we can and walk as close as we can to Him.

As a Christian do I sometimes fail? Yes....sin? Yes....judge others? Yes....feel unworthy of God's love? Yes
We humans are not perfect whether atheist or christian. Should we as Christians strive to be more Christ like daily? YES! Jesus was the only perfect, sinless person ever to walk this earth. Will we ever attain this perfection? NO! not while we are among the living here on earth. I believe our heavenly bodies and mind will be like Christ.
Does Jesus expect us to be perfect? No. He knows we will fail. But one thing we can be certain of is that every day of our Christian life, we become more and more like Jesus. We do this by confessing to God when we have failed, and asking Him to change our hearts, and enable us to conquer the sins and weaknesses that we have through the power of His Holy Spirit dwelling in us.

being a Christian and using it in all things is the hardest thing we can ever do as humans, for those who don't understand how we think, we can be considered hypocritical, because of being Christians we do things not necessary the same all the time, but we try to keep all things in prospective. we don't brag about our actions, if we have a problem with some one or something we try to resolve it, quickly and as easily as possible. the key is trying to keep a balance. without making a public display of ourselves. life is a journey, as we grow older our view and way of looking at things changes, we develop a better understanding of whats really important, and do not have as Strong political views about things. i got asked what helped me be a good christian, and i replied being a conservative with a liberal point of view. before doing or acting out on something i try to consider all sides of the issue, and then do what i feel is best, if i am wrong i am wrong because i try to do what was just and right, am i hypocritical, not in my eyes because my intentions where pure, can i be considered hypocritical by others, yes because they see me with their point of view. so no i never consider myself being a fake, or being hypocritical, because i try to do all things with a christian point of view

One of the issues that comes with being a believer in Christ is that we are now knowledgeable about our sins. As God works in our lives on certain sins we are able to overcome them and yet at the same time we may realize other sins that we never knew we were committing. This knowledge of sin makes it easy for us to recognize the sins of others. But remember that it is never wrong to point out sin and speak the truth of God's word. What is wrong is to deny someone forgiveness of that sin when they ask for it. This would be passing judgement on that person and we are told that we will be judged as we judge others.
