cant i use my school id and my birth certificate? ive got a wedding i want to go to in november and i cant get my state id before then

You should be able to use a photo ID and your birth certificate, or a passport. That is what is required to take flight lessons, so I would assume it would be the same to be a passenger on a commercial flight.

If you are over 18 you need a government issued picture ID. Driver's license, state ID, or passport.

Get on a airplane? Is'nt what you need is supposed to be a passport? Yes you need an id. Where are you going? If out of the country, you need visa and passport.
