It all sounds good on t.v.. I'm going through this right now.
The credit cards will agree to the payment plans-sounds great huh? But a couple months later the account "paper" will be sold to someone else and the calls will start again. Our accounts were sold off probably a dozen times in the last 3 years. They all want some outrageous amount that -if you had you could pay the balance anyway without the harrasment.
Finally we had to get a lawyer-now we are getting somewhere with the situation!
Don't bother with the debt places-get a lawyer and be done with it!
