Could he be shut in a neighbours shed or garage - you could perhaps ask. I do hope he's OK - hopefully he'll come home for food soon when he's hungry.

If your pet Lex is missing and is around 1 year old,he may be out prowling like most cats do when in search for a female in season. If your baby doesn't turn up soon,I would check with the animal shelter in your area, but sounds like he is just prowling around.Yes,most cats always return to their homes if not injured,or picked up.Hope he returns home.

You should make sure your cat is IN at night; thats when cat-stealers prowl, and perverts, and packs of dogs, not to mention traffic. Whats he doing out in the dark?? He is only a baby.Print off adverts and put them on lamp posts and gates, and in local shops. If youre really lucky, you might get him back; if not, and you get another cat, keep the poor little devil in where its SAFE

This happened to my cat, she went missing for 3 days, then turned up with an injured leg. She then refused to come into the house and hardly ate in a week.

2 weeks later she is now returning to normal. All I can say is that cats are resourceful.

Good luck

Im sure that your cat will turn up eventually, hes probably got carried away (not literally) and forgot the time and he'll be back when he gets hungry as long as he isn't a she then you shouldn't worry too much, if hes not back by tonight maybe go on a hunt for him then.

Put out a bowl of his favourite titbits and a drink, the cat might just be chilling with another lady cat and will be back soon

good luck

You should never let your cat out at night,
All sorts of things can happen to them, alot of cats get knocked down at night,we have two lovely Tabby cats ( girls ) and in summer when its warm they'd stop out if I let them but in winter they like the warmth.
I do hope you get your cat back and hope its ok.

That's the thing with cat's no loyalty, my sister's cat went missing for a full week and eventually turned up as if nothing was wrong.

Open a can of kitty food OUTSIDE, and call for him. Set the can down and give the kitty a few minutes to a few hours to return, cats are natural predators, and very solitary, they hunt what they can when they can, and seldom if ever come to you when you call them.
Question 2, hmm, from what I have seen around my neighborhood, kitties USUALLY return to their homes yes.

Was it raining last night. if so your cat may be holding up somewhere. or may have got him self locked in a shed by mistake. put a not throw people doors or knock on neighbours and ask them to keep a look out for him. and to look in there sheds. just in case. I hope he comes back. good look

It is possible that he has been frightened by early fireworks and has run scarred beyond his normal territory.

I would knock on neighbours houses in the hope of finding him before the evening and more fireworks. Then keep him in until after the weekend.

Good Luck.
