Just curious about how long you've had it, and how often does it improve?

Hi Welshlyn I suffer from ME & Fibromyalgia since 2000 - well that was when it was properly diaganosed.

I became completely bedridden 2000 - I forgotten everything and had no energy to get out of bed. I still cannot exercise or walk very far without paying for it afterwards and being sick in bed for ages. The constant pain I have is the Fibromyalgia effect. I have severe mood swings and personality change since having ME & Fibromyalgia.
Memory has improved now some people gave me a hard time with my illness and disbelieved I really was ill they dismissed it as being all in my head and this was terrible it made me very cross. These types of people I now give a wide birth as they only start me off and its not worth it as I feel bad afterwards.
My muscles are like jelly and not strengthen. My ME has improved from total bed ridden and loss of memory and function to a limited functions and better memory but pains fatigue mood swings depression. I have heard Doctors mention in some it just burns out but not always I suppose age of suffer may make a big difference and the cause may also make a difference to the prognosises.

i have suffered from ME for 3 1/2 years now. It took about 2 - 3 months to be actually diagnosed in the 1st place after seeing numerous doctors and specialists. Regarding how often it improves, well! everybody is different but i'm generally up and down most of the time i very rarely wake up on a morning and feel a real zest for life, but that could be a lot to with the fact that i have 2 young children & my husband works so i very rarely get to rest. I find it verydifficult indeed, especially as family members don't actually realise how debilitating this illness is!!!!

i know people with me - they had the symptoms removed by some natural remedies - aloe gel and bee pollen amongst other things - go to www.foreverlivinginternational.com
