Divorce is caused by selfishness. It is the result of either of the two pepole invovled in the relationship wanting there own way or not getting there own way this is selfishness because a marriage should concist of each person meeting the others needs regardless of what there need is. This is true love, when we live for the other person regardless of our own needs.
Marriage is never fully succesful with out God, he is the original creator of the marriage and has placed rules to go along with it so that it is never broken. A marriage is an everlasting covenant before God. The reason we have to go to court in these days and have legal documents is because the Government has done that to bring order to the society.
Jesus Christ is the only way to a life and marriage full of peace, love and Joy.
God Bless>>> Hope that answered your question.

That is why the bible says to not marry to someone who is not equally yoked. Two faiths mixed together with such radically different views on things should not be married. You cannot ask him to change his belief system and you should not have to change yours. This is a subject that should have been addressed before you got married. Perhaps through marriage counceling before hand. I hope it works out for you and counceling now may still be an option for you.
