I'm 5'10, 145 lbs. People think I'm too thin! It all depends on how your body distributes the weight on your own frame. When I was 16 my weight went up and down alot. I think adjusting hormones have a lot do with weight. Try not to be hard on yourself. Weighing 125 at a lower height is still a low weight.

I think you are the ideal weight.Don't fall for the trap that most of America has, that you have to be bone thin to be attractive. Most of those girls that are so skinny have major health issues. You gotta have a little meat on your bones.Your overall health suffers when your body can't fight an infection when you get sick because you are technically malnourished.Besides, most guys I know don't like skeletons, they would rather have someone that they won't be afraid they will break a bone when they hug you...lol.Don't sweat it girl, you are perfect just the way you are.

I doubt you look fat. You may have simply developed early and have a more mature figure. Look at college-age girls, do you look like them? When I was your age I was fat compred to my classmates but just right when I compared myself to older girls. I suspect you simply have a more mature figure. It's rare to see that super-slim look in woman in their early twenties as compared to teenagers. It's natural to fill out and put on weight as you grow older. Look at the 13 year olds you know- your classmates are much heavier and filled out then them. So don't worry- your friends will catch up with you soon enough.

i've had this and still do if i don't work on my weight and eating habits always...you're lucky because your are so young and can get a handle on this now and it will be a real life change...much easier than latter when bad habits became en-grained...i've found that this type of problem you are describing is the beginning of an alarm that your body and mind are not in-tune...making all aspects of your life muddy...rethink the basics...what you are eating, when, water?, etc...this is the first place to start...its almost a healing process when we start to fix these things..decisions, how we view ourselves, how we view others intents, etc become more clear and are seen in their right perspective...take care of yourself physically...and then see how your mind views yourself...

Woman are supposed to have more percentage of fat than men, its natural. At that age , it will probably be just right when you hit 20 and guys will be checking you out all the time.

I highly, highly doubt you're fat. Most people weigh in the 120 lb. range in highschool. If you think Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie are the norm, they are not! They (esp. Nicole) are assumed to be anorexic. Please don't worry about your weight. There are many more important things to think about.

How tall are you? Because to be considered overweight you would need to be very short @ only 125lbs.
