I have 4 cats and they do not care when I am home or not! Remember, cats have only 2 emotions - pity and disdain!
You feed a dog, and he thinks "You feed me. You must be a god."

If the kitten is off the bottle and able to eat and drink for herself, then there shouldn't be a problem. Be prepared to come home and have to clean up a lot of poop and pee off the floor though. You'll have to toilet train your kitten over the course of a weekend or so. Try not to leave it alone for extended periods too often as a kitten though, it will get traumatised. Put a clock underneath the bedding so it has the sound of a beating heart, like a mother cat.

Just make sure the kitten knows where the litter box is. And leave some dry food out with the water.

Cats are very independent animals. I have a kitten who is about 12 weeks old and she is left home on a daily basis. Just make sure you have plenty of water and food left out for her. As long as she is litter box trained then you should be fine.

As long as it uses the litter box, you'll be fine. Just make sure to set out some food and fresh water before you leave.
It'll take no time and the kitten will *rule* the house.
good luck!

Almost every one works, goes to school etc.Of course its ok.You might want to confine her to the room that will have her litter box in it,to make sure she knows where its at,along with food and water. This should only take a day or two, then I would give her the run of the house.Make sure you spay or neuter when its 4 to 6 months old to prevent unwanted kitty's.Good luck I think cats are terrific pets.PS keep it indoors

you can let the kitten go loose 24/7. Just make sure it knows where the litter box is.

It does depend on the age. My freind got a new kitten and it wasn;t litter trained yet, it pooped and rolled around in it some how.

If you are getting a kitten and you don't have the time to look after it, then you really shouldn't be getting a kitten.
