You can buy window films at any major hardware or home improvement center. These come in a variety of textures and patterns, so you can choose the one you like best. Mirror is a good thing when planned accordingly for the room, so with a bit of patience you can use the window film to create a pattern of small squares of mirror exposed from the film, or just leave a frame of mirror exposed around a strip of film applied to the centers of the mirrors. The window films are often kept near the decorative painting supplies for some reason, and they come in rolls. Putting the film on is quite simple, and as long as no one picks at the edges it will stay put for a long time. Good luck.

See if you can find the supplies for the faux stained glass and the patterns, this could dress them up and you would still be able to use the mirrors on the doors.

You can buy a spray can that will "frost" the glass. It workds beautifully. Whatever design you wish to remain unfrosted, simply cover the design area to prevent that part being frosted.
Go to any home improvement store and ask them about the product

You could etch it with stencils, or buy clings for each season or buy a really attractive contact paper, or use black contact paper to turn it into a chalk board. Many things you can do with that check out craft store such as Michael's for idea books.

Maybe a curtain with tie backs. If you should do a curtain definitely get a decorative curtain rod and decorative tie back holders.
