im gonna say about 8-10 boxes. but i guess it depends on personal references and about how much everyone likes mashed potatoes. like in my family mashed potatoes are the most popular so theres gonna be more potatoes than anything else.

My suggestion would be go to your local grocery store or Walmart that carries groceries, and look into the instant potatoes that come in the big can. It would probably be cheaper, because if each box feeds 4 people, which is about right, by my math you would need 83 or 84 boxes.

Our local Walmart has an aisle with large sizes of various products - you might find some other things you need for your huge project there as well.

Good Luck! You are very brave to tackle feeding so many!

I would guestimate about 4 serves per box - for 350 people - would equal 88 boxes. I think real potatoes would be better for you to serve.

Look at the box...it will tell you how many serving are in one box....lets say 50 ..then divide 350 by 50 =7 boxes

HOLY MOLEY GRANDMA!

Who's makin' you cook for that many people! Good- NESS!

Okay, people love potatoes and the serving size on the box is usually doubled in my house, so think of everyone wanting a double serving.

It depends on how big the box is but your best bet is to buy a resteraunt size box as it will have the directions for large batches as it changes when you cook large quantities. You can get them at Costco, Sams clubs etc... Have fun.
