I think you might better shell them damp and toast them in the oven. Otherwise they will likely mold inside the shells. After you toast them lightly, you can store them in the freezer for many months.

put them in a card board box and bring them in the house,let them set ,but every other day or so,put ur hands in and mix them up ,keep doing this for a few days.

You could bake them in the oven, but you have to watch them carefully
