Does this mean that a guy who is 7 on the looks scale will have to try much harder than someone who is 9 , and it implies that someone who is 9 will have to put in much less effort to get the girl. how does the whole thing work ?

no matter how much you will try, if a woman likes you or dislikes you, you'll know it from the start... I mean it's not like practicing and training for a new record: the more you work, better the result... If we're talking exclusively about the looks, it is either black or white... never Grey...

Usually if you're a 7 out of 10, you'll get a date who is also 7 out of 10... You don't want to sell yourself short.
If you mess with people out of your league, either the uglier one will get jealous or the good looking one will get bored and look elsewhere.
It's cruel but it's true!
(This doesn't work with casual sex - Often a 1 out of 10 will manage to pull a 10 out of 10, but in the long term, this will never work out.)

Yes, it means that I being gorgeous and handsome don't have to try very hard. In addition to which I am holy and that is an added advantage. I'm a lousy dresser but who cares about that.

well in my situation i rather be with a 7 than a 9 for the simple fact a seven will treat me better than a nine and u knoe what i hate rating a guy about lo0ks its all about how u make me feel and how u treat me in general

well , i dont go for looks a lone although if ur easy on the eyes it helps. different girls find different guys attractive , personally i like the butch rugby player look , not too pretty either ,i like a man who looks like a man.
its not about gettin the girl its about keepin her once uv got her, b urself n ul find some1 nice.

as a man i dont rate ladies on a scale --- its who they are that counts --- yes i know you cant see personality at first glance but thats all you have to go on when online
