People are not mind readers. No matter how long you are together the one ability we do not have is to read the others mind. If you want his help ask for it. There is a little poem that says when you assume you make an *** out of U and ME. More relationships have fallen by the way side because someones feelings got hurt because they expected the other person to know what they wanted. ASK!

Why don't u directly ask for the help and made an end to this history? I didn't understand the reason of waiting if ur boyfriend act on his own to help u or not. I suggest u to directly ask without wasting time.

If you need his help, yes you should ask him for his help. How is he suppose to know if you don't. Don't assume something from anyone. Just because he is your boyfriend, doesn't make him have to do things without you asking for help. That is only respect for him.He might even like it if you ask for his help, and not assume he should or would.

Assumptions lead to expectations
and expectation conflicts that are the root casuses of all relations,
there may be chances that he may have his own worries and tensions that will lead him to forget.

well in my mind i would assume he would help mebut its always go0d to ask him even if he had the intentions on helpin u from the begining because if we dont ask and he doesnt help we get mad meaning that would be another great big fight just ask him he is ur boyfriend

It depends.
He "can help you" but he also know with what? If you are sad, he will see but if there is another problem which isn't visible such as
a fight you just have with your parents....In a situation like this, it will be much better if you will ask him to help you.

Us guys can be a little slow sometimes and we just don't think. I know you think he should just do it and help you, but don't be afraid to ask for what you want or need. Sometimes we don't know unless you tell us.
