i have an Sony Cybershot (3.2mp) that i bought a few years ago and its having problems. it wont turn on. if i switch it to "review mode" or settings mode it goes on no problem. but when i switch it to camera or video mode the screen doesnt turn on and the lense doesnt open. the green power light flashes once then goes off. i tried looking for a reset button but i cant find one. as far as im concerned, this device doesnt have a "lock" feature on it. anyone know whats wrong?

I guess your camera is broken. Call the sony place and ask them.

My camera did that too. I put brand new batteries in it and it still did it. Well evidently the "new batteries" were not any good. I got some more and it worked fine. Try replacing the batteries. If not then call Sony Support:

Yeah, you probably did some thing incorrect. All you had to do develop into get rid of the cardboard and turn the little activate the aspect of the cardboard. you would have also regarded up what "write secure" meant till now you destroyed your digital camera. inspite of this, that's probable better effective to shop electronics and sharp products out of your palms besides. Throw the digital camera away and do not get yet another one or you'll damage your self.
