i want to see first hand all of these horrible things that are going on in the world. danger is not a concern of mine, i dont care if going to the place is dangerous.
i have been to panama, kuwait, and iraq with the military so this wouldnt be my first time in a strange country.
i want to see for myself what is going on in the world. africa is supposobly a horrible place right?
if i went on a trip like this how much would it cost me? what would i be doing (my skills are driving a tractor trailor, computer operation, and just plain old muscle power)? what country or place in the world would i find the most shocking?

you know what folks, forget the missionary one. i KNOW what a missionary is and if im not wanted by them fine. thats exactly what i would expect from typical holier than though christians. but i can still voulenteer.

i shouldnt even respond to you because you are only trying to start trouble. if youd have read everything i said you would have read that my interests were not limited to missionary work and just for the sake of getting actual answers instead of arguments (from people like you) i said forget being a missionary.
isnt it the most shocking place that needs the most help? i cant believe people like you. there is no cause noble enough to avoid insults. ...im not going to waste any more of my time responding to you cause i seriously think youre just looking for a fight. and its soooooooo aggrivating arguing with people like you.

I don't think you understand what missionary work is. You don't go to SEE suffering, you go to PREACH the word of God and to EASE suffering. If you only go to gawk at the misfortunes of others, then you are a lowly human being. Missionaries do what they can to help others, donating their time to their church in the service of others. They are not there for amusement.

That doesn't sound like a desire to help others. If you are truly interested in Missionary work, go and talk to the priest of your church. Missionaries are sent on the church's dime, if I recall correctly. I had two cousins who served a year in missionary work after high school (one did go to Africa). For them, it's spiritual, as missionary work should be.

The "IF" means you are just presupposing. First decide yourself whether u wanted or not. Becomming Missionary is not just that simple. If we become, the first mission field is ourselves.
