I'll tell you a phrase mentioned in Holly Quran about it, and has been elaborated upon by the Geologist Prof. Zaglol Alnajjar, and what he said about the big bang( after the 1st. explosion and the universe is still expanding and once it might shrink back again) this is according to science.
What is mentioned Holly Quran that ALLAH almighty has created the universe and still expanding it.

The 'big bang' is another unproven theory/GUESS by science,
God spoke the universe into existence.

I don't know who else could have been. And obviously someone had to be. In science, nothing happens without a cause.
