My girlfriend wants me to drive 300 miles to meet her after she's been out drinking with friends but refuses to tell me what time to meet her, would you feel happy traveling that far without firm plans?

its just a shame that you didnt put in all the details isnt it .... you cant give a firm time , it could take you 5 hours , it could take you seven , you should be happy your girlfriend will meet you whatever time you arrive , she would leave her friends and her s night out to be with you. why dont you ring gerry springer and ask him !

the firm plans part doesn't realy matter much to me, i'll be traveling 5000 miles soon to meet some one...
but there must be a very firm meet time... in my case, she's going to pick me up from the airport... but to drive 5 hours or so, and not know when she's going to be there, that's just wrong!
I wouldn't do it.

that would depend on many factors. But even if I had good reason to really trust this person, I would meet them in public, leave right away if I got any bad vibes, and have enough money on hand for transportation and lodging until my departure flight.

no tell her that you will be picking her up at a set time and if she aint there then your not going to wait and she will have to make her own way home dont let her tell you if all else fails dump her and drive to my house

wot a beatch she is for not giving the time.are you wrapped round her finger.least she could do is give you a approx time.even if you wait 30 min to an hour at least you could have some drinks and who knows you might run into a chicken head

erm no........ in fact why would you even bother - if shes not willing to even spend time with you after driving that far - instead going out with her mates - I definately wouldnt do it!
