because they are idiotic and feel the need to brag in order to "big" themselves up!

Its horrible, cruel and nasty and NO ONE has the right to harm any living creature simply for the sake of it.

Have a great day

Hi Catwoman, I opened my local newspaper yesterday and nearly died when I read about incidents where people were putting cats on bonfires and crucifying them for this so called festival. They are just sad pathetic individuals with no life.Im a cat lover, and you can imagine I felt sick to my stomach when I heard about this.

Its people like this that the world dosen't need.Twisted minds that put animals through this torture will get what they deserve. What goes around comes around. Im glad this topic came up as more people should be made aware of it. Leave our beautiful Furbabys alone.

Its a progressional thing they view cats and dogs as inanimate objects just another thing to experiment with. Either they have no concept of what will happens when they attach a firework to pets or they are DEVOID /DETACHED from what it is like to be human. It is pure evil and a parent of one of these sickos should view this as a pre warning to having a potential psychopath or child killer in the future under their roof.

the government should actually apply pressure on the manufacturers to ensure they only sell to organisationsa nd councils, etc and not indivuiduals

Have you any idea how easy it is to turn the base materials of a firework into something a lot more sinister, that would make hurting animals seem trival by comparison

ban the bloody things being sold to children and impose jail sentences to offenders

where i live bonfire night is huge but we also have a firework display at least one night a week all year round,lol...the only alternative use for fireworks other than that round here is that they blow up parking meters with them on a regular basis...it was in the local paper last week...;0)

they obviosuly dont have decent morals and a conscience to be able to do things like this to poor animals,1 for one will never understand why someone could hurt any living thing - be it animal or human. its sickening to know some people do these types of things and think its funny and they are a big person for doing it. what goes around comes around and i firmly believe that - these evil people will get what they deserve one day.

I believe we get rewarded/punished for our deeds. Just rest assured and have faith that karma WILL catch up these unspeakable excuses for humans.
