Now that many sites are closing their doors to US players (pokerroom, William Hill, etc), where is the best place to play that still allows US players? Mainly, I want to know who has the best bonuses (size of bonus and difficulty to clear are the key factors), best software, and competition.

I am looking for a detailed explanation of which is the best "online" poker site. Just listing one doesn't do me much good.

Bonus wise, it's tough for Americans now. Of the sites on this list that still accept US players http://www.ultimatepokerbankroll.com/article.php/internet-gambling-ban-poker-sites-status only AP has really outstanding bonuses, especially when combined with rakeback. Stars bonus is OK.

I'd say the best overall is Full Tilt Poker. Their bonus and reloads are quite large (600) and while they are more difficult to clear, you can get rakeback there from a site like UPB http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/?aff=3425&code=?=0&ext= Full Tilt's NL games are juicy, their software is very good. They update it alot to iron out any bugs that pop up. They run a ton of tournaments, and their SNGs are quite soft.

Customer Support is nearly as good as Stars, and their cashout speed is ok. But when you combine the Bonuses and rakeback, you get a really good deal on a site that has excellent software and game quality.

I play online pretty seriously and have found that Full Tilt poker is best all around site that is still accepting US players. Their software is stable and they have a lot of players. They offer a 100% deposit bonus up to $650 and it's pretty easy to clear even playing at lower limits. I've listed links for Full Tilt and two other good sites accepting us players.

Hope this helps and good luck!

There are over 25 poker sites that continue to accept US-based real-money players from all states in the US. Of these, I would say that the best ones are as follows:

+ Crazy Poker has the best software in the business (Microgaming / Prima Poker) and offers 10 free for new players. However, their 40% initial deposit bonus is low, but easy to clear. http://www.crazypoker.com/index.asp?btag=AfBtag959706001

+ Casino Grand Bay also has the best software in the business (Microgaming / Prima Poker) but does not offer a free bonus for new players. It makes up for this with a 100% match on your relatively low initial deposit of 30; it is also relatively easy to clear. http://www.referspot.com/showadtext.asp?g=0&b=1102&w=1649&s=b

+ UltimateBet.com has proprietary software, but it is very popular with many players. They offer a 100% match on your first deposit that can range from 25 to 650 depending on how much you want to deposit. I've found the competition at this site a bit tougher than the other two that I have mentioned. http://www.incomeaccess.com/processing/clickthrgh.asp?btag=a_9639b_1915

+ If you do not live in IL, IN, LA, MI, NJ, NV, NY, OR, SD, WA, WI then you can choose from even more sites on this list: http://theonlinecasinogamblingdirectory.com/s.php?as_usa=0&t=Poker&SRC=YahooAnswers

Best of luck!
Robert

I play at Absolute Poker. It is my favorite to date. I've played at several others, but this is the best. You can play for real money or just for fun. You can personalize the room you play in by downloading different skins. The tourneys are good with nice payouts and they are always offering bonuses every week.

Poker Stars has the best software and best players. I don't know about bonuses, as I just play for fun, not to maximize my earnings.
