Don't pay attention to the time and stay busy.

Write a list of everything that must be done today, and work through them one by one.

Take a break ever so often though and do something not work related, like having a drink or reading a book.

Then you'll soon notice its 5pm. Don't worry about it, otherwise every minute will pass very slowly.

It sounds to me like you don't enjoy your job. I know, I can relate. My suggestion is on your time off, like this weekend or whatever, look inside yourself to discover what job you would really enjoy doing. Then make plans to make it happen, such as going to college. Look into financial aid or scholarships. Start making some goals where you would like to be and your hope will help make your days better. I wish you the best! :-)

That's a shame. I just got off of work 7p - 7a. At least u get to get on yahoo answers. The best I can do is check my e-mail when the supervisor isn't looking.

Apply cranio-rectal position when you walk thru the door and leave it there until quitting time.
Works for me.
