The really sad part is, the reason why I did this is because my boyfriend. I know he likes me for the way I am. It's just I want to prove to him, that I can be just as good as any other person. Godammit, I have problems.....

You are right NOT EATING is not the answer. You need to eat to insure that you meet all of you nutritional needs. You are still growing and maturing at 13, and starving yourself is not good. I am not sure about your size, but I do know that you are not '' VERY FAT ''. That bothers me to hear people talk that way. #1, we are all different, so those measurments mean different things to different people. # 2 , I hate the word DIET. Diet is just what we put into our bodies. Yes, you do choose what to eat so I guess in context , it's ok. You have to eat. Very important. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so try to get a good breakfast every day. Eat more meals , but keep them smaller so that you never get hungry. This actually will make your body burn the calories more efficiently. Drink lots of water and eat a lot of fruits and veggies. Your diet may not be enough to get you where you want to go. Exercise. You don't have to start anything too elaborate, just a little to burn more calories. If you do need to lose weight, i'm not convinced yet, it can't be much though. Keep your goals realistic. Don't try to get there in a week. Take your time. You have the rest of your life to live, don't stress now. Walk a little more. Don't take shortcuts or elevators, walk the extra bit. When watching tv or whatever, do some ab work or some push-ups, anything to burn a few calories. Please don't think negativly about yourself. You sound great to me. Don't compare yourself to who is popular in school or on tv. Thats not realistic. It takes all kinds to make this world go round. We all have different tastes. I prefer a girl who has a bit extra. They have always seemed to me to look more alive. You say you have a boyfriend and he doesn't seem worried , so why are you ? As long as you're healthy, you are fine.

129 at 5'6" IS healthy. There's nothing wrong with that. I'm 27, 5'4" and weigh 135...I'm not fat at all. Try working out some, use light weights, do crunches, push ups, run or walk. You're only 13, your body has so many changes that it still has to go through before you're at your "final" weight. There really isn't a final, you will fluctuate a lot through life. Keep your head up, I'm sure you're beautiful. Thin is NOT in anymore, I know models look anorexic, but that doesn't mean you have to. You're more than the perfect size for your weight/height. Don't be depressed or obsess over your looks, God blessed you with what you have, now all you have to do is take good care of it and it will take care of you!

Happy Halloween! Have a safe weekend!

First of all, start eating because if you don't your body will not process as many fats and whatnot and you would probably stop loosing weight. Eat less and try those diet things that dissolve in water and see what happens. If nothing else, see your dietitian and get on something healthy. And if you go out to eat, I recommend Subway instead of McDonald's.

First of all, I can't figure out how it is that you're only 13 years old and already have a steady boyfriend who presumably you claim to "love" (at least, I'm guessing that's where you got your Yahoo! ID) and to whom you feel you need to prove your self worth. There is no way I'd let a child your age get involved that way.

Where are your parents in all of this? How do they not see what you're doing to yourself mentally and physically (both with the boyfriend and not eating)?

Hon...
You're not fat. You're just mad tall!!! And I mean that in a good way.(I wish that I was tall) Anyway if you try a diet its not going to work because when you're dieting and you lose weight you're going to stop eating the foods that make you "fat" but then when lose weight you're going to start eating again and you're going to gain all the pounds back. What you can do is start working out and eat more vegetables and fruits. Good Luck!!!

If you want to lose weight, you should do with a moderate reduction in calories and EXERCISE, not simply with deprivation of food. If you just stop eating, guess what, when you do start eating you going to gain it back plus some. When you top eating, your body goes into starvation mode and starts to go into defensive mode and becomes more efficient with the food that is being consumed.

Make small, gradual changes and over time, they will have an extremely powerful effect on you.

Check out http://www.obesitykills.iconfessional.com . The guy there is an ex-Marine, like myself, and he's putting together a program for himself in his blog that will get him back into shape. It will work for pretty much anyone and he's doing it all publically.

He's not selling anything, just sharing what he's doing as he does it. He's hoping for encouragement and motivation from his readers.

Hope that helps.

Well, the thing is.....YOU AREN'T FAT. Good grief. If you think you are fat and you've been starving yourself (even though you know it's not good, you're doing it anyway) you have a eating disorder. Anorexia. People who are thin, but see themselves as fat--no matter how thin they get--and starve themselves until their hearts stop. Yes, that is what will happen to you if you don't get help. Go to your parents so they can get you to a doctor right away.

beauty is in the eye of the beholder. you don't sound fat, but you will be ugly if you don't eat. be active and eat healthier. walk run or jog everyday twice a day. eat foods that are good for you and help your metabolism speed up. thats the only way to be healthy and thin.
