As has already been stated, section 117 of the Mental Health Act 1983 is to do with aftercare.

This relates to aftercare after hospitalisation. Usually a meeting is held with doctors, relatives, social workers etc and sometimes the patient concerned. It relates to the who, what and where aftercare is delivered.
