Other than the eyes, we have the exact same features. I have dark brown eyes. I would put either rich caramel highlights or copper. But not red or blond! You could use a mix of copper/auburn and caramel colored highlights and lowlights. It would look really nice with your dark brown. It would make it very dimensional and make sure to do it around your face to brighten you up.

Mine was long and brown, just waist length. Now it is long and red. When the sun lightens your hair, are the highlights blond or reddish? Use that color to decide what color streaks. FYI I am a pale ivory skinned person with blue eyes that change too.

An interesting combo would be light brown, brown, caramel, and maybe dark blond...that way it would all blend together looking like a natural sun hi-lighted brunette, and the colors would also go well with your pale skin and hazel eyes. I have long(waist length) light brown hair with natural dark blond hi-lights, hazel(green/honey/grey) eyes, and very pale skin. I'm trying to grow my hair to the floor right now, so I don't think I should try to hi-light it!

You should ask your hairstylist what they recommend. If you have brown hair with hints of gold in it then blond highlights would be the best. My dark brown hair has natural red highlights, so red would be better for me. It all depends on what your natural hair color is.

Good Luck. :)

Depends. Where is this hair located? The further from the ground that it originates when you are standing, the more acceptable for you to dye/streak it.
