this guy i really like is sending me mixed signals... he is my brothers friend tho... if you liked you friends's younger sister would you ask her out or is that not cool???

I have four sisters - 1 old and 3 younger. Several of my friends dated my sisters. The hard part was when my sisters were hurt - most of time emotional, but once or twice physically. I lost a friend that way.
If you want to date, if you can talk to your brother. If he is cool with it - you have help, if he is not then wait and do little special things for that friend-he will notice!
A word of advice
Do not bring the small day-to-day problems to your family, but if it gets physical then involve your brother right away. Lots of times that might be enough for the guy to keep his head on straight.

I dated one of my best mates younger sister and all I did was make sure it was cool with him before I asked her. So if his keen and your brother don't mind no problem but ya have to share him with your brother and can you do that? Can go out on a date with him with your brother and his girl and not feel awkward about it?

There is nothing wrong with this picture. Guys do not worry so much about how it looks dating a friends little sister. The bigger issue is whether the guy can get along with the friend after the two hook up.

Ye he is probably afraid of asking you cause thats like a small disrespect to his friend becuase its quite hard to be friends with someone while goin out with their sister (or brother)

kinda am going out with the friends younger sister...but I knew her longer than him so I figured it was ok....I still asked if he'd mind first though.....so maybe you should ask

I most likly wouldn't, for fear of my friend beating me up for dating his sister. : ) And, how much older? This makes a differnece.
