I'm 18, 5'4, 117 lbs. I am going to the gym every other day doing and hour and a half of weight machines and getting in the sauna. I want to lose between 7-10 lbs in one month and a half, or less. How many calories should I be consuming a day to reach my goal weight?

You should be consuming at least 1400 per day, but if you feel low energy then eat more, you have to have fuel to exercise.

It's not how many calories you take in -- it's what kind of calories you're taking in.

The best way to lose weight is to make small, gradual changes and over time, they will have an extremely powerful effect on you.

Follow those steps will ensure that you meet your goal easily.

For you 1400-1500calories should be fine.Try to exercise everyday instead of alternate day for 45 minutes.Whatever is consumed should be burnt that day itself.Avoid all fatty foods and consume more fruits and veggies, also eat 3 balanced meals a day and never skip your meal.Lastly consume 3 litres of water daily this steps your BMR and helps you burn fat effectively.

losing weight will not get rid of the fat rolls..you need to tone up with crunches...also all through the day hold you stomach in tightly for a count of 10...plus cut out sugar completely for 7 days

you should be consuming between 1,500 and 2,500; depending on your body type and metabolism. The ideal weight for a woman who is 5'4 is 120 pounds; 100 pounds for 5'0, and you add 5 pounds for every inch of height; but I don't know your bone mass, so you should probably be between 110-130, I'd say you're good like that.
