Egg whites are very low in calories, have no fat, no cholesterol, and are loaded with protein. The egg white is less likely than the yolk to harbor dangerous salmonella
The yolk or yellow portion makes up about 33% of the liquid weight of the egg and contains all the fat in the egg.
The yolk is extremely high in cholesterol, containing more than two-thirds of the recommended daily limit of 300 mg! However, the yolk has many health strengths necessary for immunity, healthy skin, nerves and vision. The yolk contains good amounts of B Vitamins, Vitamin A, iron and riboflavin. All the egg's vitamins A, D and E are in the yolk
Egg Calories based on one large egg:
Deviled Egg 145 calories
Egg White 17 calories
Egg Yolk 59 calories
Fried Egg 92 calories
Hard-Boiled Egg 76 calories
Poached Egg 76 calories
Scrambled Egg 100 calories
check with your local grocery store for Egg whites. I'm pretty sure you can get them at health stores. Make a few calls.
But honestly...eating the whole egg isn't going to hinder your weight loss unless your whole diet consists of eggs.
Moderation...exersize....its really the only way.

The whole egg, most of the nutrition is in the yolk.
According to researchers from the University of Connecticut, eggs are an inexpensive and low calorie source of nutrients such as folate, riboflavin, selenium, choline and vitamins B12 and A. An excellent source of high-quality protein, eggs are also one of the few sources of vitamins K and D. The Journal of Nutrition reviewed the recent recommendation by the American Heart Association (AHA) which limits consumption of other animal foods if already eating one egg yolk per day. Contrary to popular belief, numerous studies fail to link dietary cholesterol and egg intake to the progression of coronary heart disease. On the other hand, many other clinical studies show that eggs contribute to the prevention of chronic age-related conditions like coronary heart disease, loss of muscle mass, age-related macular degeneration, hearing loss and memory loss. The current guidelines are then clearly not benefiting the public, and may in fact have negative implications. YES!!! the white part of the egg is full of protein and it taste yummy ^_^ The yellow part is to high in cholesterol and although it does help in some ways there are many other healthier ways... I'm in a similar situation like you, I started eating healthy last month as well as excersising and i have already lost 12 pounds :D I also recommend walnuts, almonds, pistachios, beans, fish, avacado, and lentils. These also fat but it's a healthy kind of fat called omega 3....it helps lose weight and its natural hope this helps

To tell you the truth, this is only a small, minor thing in the vast scheme of things.
If you're looking to safely, reliably lose weight, make small, gradual changes and over time, they will have an extremely powerful effect on you.
Check out http://www.obesitykills.iconfessional.com . The guy there is an ex-Marine, like myself, and he's putting together a program for himself in his blog that will get him back into shape. It will work for pretty much anyone and he's doing it all publically.
He's not selling anything, just sharing what he's doing as he does it. He's hoping for encouragement and motivation from his readers.
Hope that helps.

Just the egg whites.....the egg yolk is very fattening and has a lot of cholestrol in it
Another idea which I do is to buy egg beaters or some variation of it. It's not the powder stuff, it's the liquid stuff that comes in a small milk carton. They taste just like the real thing but have no fat in them at all.

No they do not sell egg whites only. I have heard that it is always better to eat the egg white alone.
If you have to eat the entire egg, fry it with olive oil and make sure it is well done.

You can eat the whole egg if you want to, but the white part of the egg (not shell) has more protein, and probably more vitamens in it. good luck!

If you don't want to gain fat in your body, eat the egg white only because it contains proteins which make you healthier... Egg yolk contains fats and cholesterol... If these things accumulate, your cellulites will swell, making you fat!
