PAST - people encountered fire and have ever since been tapping the world of coal oil and gas, never even thinking about its limited supply

PRESENT- wars are fought over these fossil fuels, and people continue to use them like their is no tommorrow. Thinking ' my kids and grandkids can deal with the consequences'

but we are at least aware of the damage we are doing and some people are developing solutions: there was supposed to be a massive solar power plant in a desert that was closed by the American government (pushed into it by the Petrol, Gas etc Industry giants)

FUTURE- we have the means to develop and use renewable fuels, like wind and solar power, even things like hydrogen farms - but we need to break the addiction that we have to cars and petrol fueled machines

its our problem, lets not let it get worse so our grandkids have to suffer!!

There is no "real" energy crisis as such.

People are too short sighted (generally because of media manipulation) and think only of oil when they think of energy.

Once the oil runs out (well, it'll never really "run out", just get to a level where its not commercially viable to pump out), the other sources of energy will come through. Its is already possible to run automobiles on man made diesels (literally made from plants specially grown for their rich oils).

The way I understand it it's a lack of gas and the oil will also run out soon. So basically what do we use to create our electricity when coal is also running slim. To build nuclear power stations will take time and is under fire from certain croups.

With expanding populations and increasing electricity needs it's a case of where do we get it all from and how to we produce it clean.

There is no energy crisis. Its just something the government tells you to run your life. I say lets get the government mad by wasting energy.
