My son has a football game away tonite and I'd like to start cooking now. I've got lots of frozen meat but if I can, I'd like to use stuff I already have around the house. What's your best slow cooker recepie? HELP!

how about a pot roast, with carrots, potatoes and onions

You can put a cut up chicken in there without the skin and fat. Add a bay leaf, 1 cup each of chopped carrots,celery and onions. 2 crushed cloves of garlic, 3 potatoes cut into large cubes and 2 cups of chicken broth. IF you have white wine, add a 1/2 cup, if not a tablespoon of lemon juice will add some tartness. Don't forget to season with salt and pepper to taste and cook on high for 6 hours.

If you like Kielbasa, you'll love this. Slice it into small pieces, and throw it in the slow cooker with a bottle of BBQ sauce (original flavor), half a bottle of italian dressing, and half a jar of Ah-So sauce. I usually serve this with rice pilaf. Its delicious!
