Scam Alert
Early today I got the following scam alert warning from K. It seemed important enough to share with the rest of you. Hehehe!

Generally, I hate the warnings that get sent around, but I have to admit that this one is important.
Please protect everyone you know and all the Answer people by posting this on Answers
If someone comes to your front door and says they are conducting a survey and asks you to show them your bum, do NOT show them your bum. IT IS A SCAM - they only want to see your bum.
I wish I'd got this warning yesterday. I feel so stupid and cheap.

Ok...you got a check and instructions to cash it and wire the money to someone, but instead of cashing it, you just stuck it in your account. Is that right? You have spent no money? In that case you should be safe from the scam. It is likely that it is a scam. The way it works is if you just cash the check, you're really depositing the (uncleared) check and withdrawing a like amount from your account. You then wire that, and your money is gone before the bank tells you that the check was no good. Since you deposited the check and have spent nothing, you'll still have your money when the bank says that the check's no good. You should still tell your bank about the check, and perhaps alert the authorities. Read the source link for more and better info.

Wow, I'm glad you let me know...A surveyor came to my house yesterday, but he only asked to see my boobs, thank goodness! The survey itself was pretty short, but it was cold so I could only leave my top off for a few minutes. He left right after that, he said we couldn't finish the survey unless my top was off. It made me sad, I really wanted to help the people he was surveying about...

I was riding in a taxicab this morning and there was a female dispatcher on the two-way radio. She was dispatching the cabs to various addresses and the usual dispatch chatter was going on. Suddenly, the dispatcher asked? ... Michael Hunt, are you out there... Mike? Do you read me? ... Mike Hunt, Mike Hunt... Come in.... Come In... Come in Mike Hunt.
I don't know why this is so funny to me- it was just a cab ride.
I couldn't stop laughing.
I think something shot out of my nose!
