why physiotherapists are treated as 3rd category staffs in hospitals n why the pay scale is so less?is it fair

Ask a person who needs Physiotherapy if he considers him a 3rd category staff ! There is dignity in every skill. Pay scale is a different matter.

It is because their job is just to help the recovering patients to find their feet back and normal after an operation and it does not involve much of research or skill of a surgeon who not only diagnoses a patient's illness prior to a 'life saving' operation but also prescribes medicines that goes a long way in the post operative treatment.
