I have done my 12 std in arts,now i am chosing a field which requires non medical.can i give these 2 papers .?

for making my 12th non medical from arts can i give exams of physics and chemistry so that i am able to pursue the course which i have chosen.i have heared people do that but dont know where to get the information from?can somebody please help me....
