Now befor anyone freaks out Im taking my dog to the vet as soon as they open this morning. I was just curious on what could be going on with her.
She is very lethargic only nibbling on food and sipping on her water. Her stomach below her ribs is very hard and looks almost swollen yet at the same time she looks like shes lost quite a bit of weight (If that makes any sense) She is urinating normally but not pooping (she had bladder surgery because of stones a few months ago so i know its not the same thing again)
She was fine when i left (had to go out of town for a few days due to work) and when i came home i noticed this odd behavior.
My question is any ideas on what could be going on with her? Im leaning twords some kind of intestinal blockage..

Befor it gets said I had my neighbor who has three dogs of her own looking after mine while i was away so i know its not something she did.

what's he being fed? If the answer is pellets; which it sounds like it really is, feed him ordinarily vegetables. a lot of vegetables. Carrots are somewhat sweet or perhaps although stereotyped as rabbit nutrients, they must be considered as a take care of, alongside with any fruit. (It in basic terms takes some raisins to reason diarrhea in a bunny). Feed him a lot of lettuce, (no iceburg) parsley (my rabbit's fashionable), kale, and broccoli. Tomatoes each and every now and then. if you're having a puzzling time staying on good of unpolluted vegetables for the rabbit to eat and it really is the reason you're searching on pellets, then provide about 1/2 and 1/2. also, does he have hay? Timothy hay is something that needs to affix his weight-loss plan. It must be in his cage as a lot as a water bottle. not adequate fiber and his digestive music will close down. not in any respect forget to envision his hay daily once you feed him. If he remains youthful (decrease than a year) you are able to swap it up with Alfalfa hay each and every now and then. once they become older Alfalfa hay is fattening for them considering that they at the instantaneous are not growing to be. playstation . the stalk on the best of the carrot is more effective perfect for him than the carrot. in case you feed him diverse lettuce, do not freak out if he doesn't contact his water bottle. It took my bunny a month to drink his down because we fed him such diverse watery vegetables. good luck!

She could have eaten something which has caused a blockage, but please don't stress yourself, or something that was a bit "off" and has caused severe bloating........ just stay calm till you can see the vet.
You probably have by now, so I do hope everything is OK,, please let us know what the problem was?
